The Summers at Metàfora

For more than ten years, Metáfora has successfully run summer courses in Art Therapy and Studio Arts. These programs offer a unique oportunity for our international students to come and share an exceptional art-experience.

Throughout the rest of the year, Metàfora runs a full-time Studio Arts programme and several Art Therapy courses (among them a MA training program for Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona ). However, of all of our activities the Summers is perhaps the most intense and full experience we can offer our students, a “micro cosmos” of the rest of our courses. Condensated and ephemeral, in the midst of sunny summer-Barcelona, Metáfora transforms into an “art-oasis” where students and professionals from all over the world share an experience to fill a life-time.
