International Workshop

Metáfora´s Contemporary Art activities consist mainly of a full time studio-arts course. This course is called “The International Workshop". Artists and art-students come from a variety of countries, giving the course its distinctive international atmosphere.

Students with different backgrounds and experiences come to Metàfora for 2-4 semesters. While some of them are attracted to the programme in order to try new techniques and ways of working, other students come to mature their artistic discourse, spending their time on in-depth studio investigation.

The structure of the International Workshop consists of different elements: Route-specific classes and Area-electives, theme-based projects and tutorials.
